Chris has worked with athletes at all levels for many years. He was a team Physiotherapist with UK Athletics for over 16 years and has worked with elite athletes in major competitions such as European Championships, Grand Prix events and the Manchester Commonwealth Games.
For the past 10 years he has worked with Scottish Athletics and the Scottish curling teams.
Chris has competed himself at national level and so fully understands the pressures of training and competitions and the need for optimum performance.
His experience means his assessment skills provide accurate diagnoses and therefore effective treatments. The use of the ultrasound scanner enhances his assessments.
After an athlete has been assessed, Chris will advise the best course of treatment and also work with the athlete to rehabilitate them back to sport.
You do not have to be an elite athlete to benefit from physiotherapy – if your chosen exercise is walking the dog and back pain or a sprained ankle prevents this, the right treatment can get you back to your hobby quickly.
